My trip to 'somewhere' for 'sometime' - prelude

I've been meaning to get this post started for several days, but one 'urgent' detail after another has prevented that - yesterday/today it was a leaking water heater that need replacement. Question - why do they install these heaters without shutoff valves? Cold water would certainly be better than no water.

This trip is about getting my mind, body and soul realigned. This year so far has been one of my worst in recent memory and has left me with a really bad outlook on everything.
OK, enough of (whatever), on with the trip and enjoying life.

Because of our water heater failure Tue evening, and spending the whole day yesterday installing a new one, I my not post tomorrow - I got about 3 days prepping for this trip to do in one day.
